Overview

The Smith & Wesson 686-6 was developed in 1980 and has become a commercially successful double-action revolver. It is used by both US Navy special operations and French GIGN counter-terrorism operators due to its reliability in harsh weather conditions and the walloping punch it packs.

The S&W 686 featured in NMRiH is chambered in .357 Magnum ammunition and stores 6 rounds per cylinder.

The S&W 686 can be used in conjunction with a maglite.
