The Beretta 92FS, known by its Department of Defense designation of M9, is a very common civilian, law enforcement and military sidearm. It was developed in the 1980s and adopted in 1985 to replace the [[Colt 1911|Colt M1911A1]] as the standard sidearm of the US military. 

The Beretta 92FS featured in <i>No More Room in Hell</i> is chambered in [[9mm Luger|9x19mm]] ammunition and stores 15 rounds per magazine. 

The Beretta 92FS can be used in conjunction with a [[Maglite|maglite]].

Since the 9x19mm ammunition the Beretta uses kills only with two headshots, the Beretta 92FS should be used as a medium-range weapon, while the player can defend himself from close range with a melee weapon, or a [[Colt 1911|Colt M1911A1]].

Players usually refers to the weapon as the M9 Pistol, which is false, since the weapon lacks the underbarrel rails the M9 has, which makes it a simple Beretta 92fs.
