Overview
Flare Guns are common pieces of any survival kit. They are used in the event of an emergency to signal for rescue or aid, usually when stranded or signalling for a helicopter or plane. In certain maps (and in survival mode) if the Flare Gun is fired at the sky at an angle equal to or greater than 75 degrees it can signal for a helicopter to drop off a crate of supplies.

Hanso Enterprises Flare Gun
The Flare Gun featured in NMRiH is chambered for 12 Gauge Emergency Flares and it holds one shot at a time.
The Flare Gun can be used in conjunction with a maglite.
